The wife of Delhi Police Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma, who succumbed to the bullet injuries sustained during the Batla House gun battle, has demanded tough punishment for lone suspected Indian Mujahideen operative Shahzad Ahmad.
Shahzad was on Thursday convicted in the 2008 Batla House encounter case by a Delhi court for murdering a police inspector and assaulting other officers.
The court will pronounce its order on sentence on Monday.
