An abandoned box with electric wires triggered panic at Cauvery junction, near Sadashivnagar, Central Bengaluru, on Friday.
A caller informed the police about a suspicious bag following which cops, bomb squad and sniffer digs were rushed to the spot. The traffic was diverted from Bashyam circle, Vyalikaval and surrounding roads.
However, city's police chief NS Megharikh said later that there was no bomb found in the suspicious object.
