Bihar: Six youths rape class VII student in Bhojpur
Police Said, The Victim's Perpetrators Had Threatened Her Of Dire Consequences If She Reported The Incident To Anyone Or Police.
A class VIII student who had gone to attend nature’s call in open field in Bihar’s Bhojpur district was gang raped by six youths on January 31, police said on Thursday.
The incident came to light after the teenage victim along with her parents lodged a complaint with the police at Bhojpur woman police station on Wednesday.
Police said, six youths aging between 18 years and 25 years had abducted the girl when she had gone to the fields on January 31 night for open defecation.
A women police officer said that the victim told them that her perpetrators had filmed the crime and uploaded the video on a social networking site.
She added that her perpetrators had threatened her of dire consequences if she reported the incident to anyone or police.
“The victim’s family told us that they learnt about the incident late as they were in Kolkata and on returning they learnt about the assault,” said a police officer posted at the women police station.
Police said they have identified the accused as Krishna Yadav, Rakesh Kumar, Mithilesh, Guddu, Rahul Kumar and Sumeram.
