In another shocking statement by BJP state Women wing Madhu Mishra for her controversial statement that "those who used to polish shoes are now ruling the state.
After the remark, the saffron party has expelled the leader for six years.
Taking strong note of her remarks, State BJP president Laxmi Kant Bajpai today expelled her from the party for a period of six years, party spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said in a statement issued.
“Making use of the constitution, remember these people who are ruling over you used to once polish your boots. This happened because we were divided,” Madhu had recently said.
The statement gave ample fodder to the Congress to attack the BJP in the state. Congress leader Akshilesh Pratap Singh said that Mishra's comments were exactly the ideologies of the RSS.
