J-K: Joint Patrol Party Of CRPF, Police Attacked By Terrorists In Srinagar's Karan Nagar

Terrorists hurled a grenade at a joint patrolling team of CRPF and the police in the Karan Nagar area of Srinagar on Saturday, the police said. At least six personnel of the CRPF received injuries and have been evacuated to a hospital.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) team was manning a checkpoint when the incident took place. The grenade exploded with a bang causing panic in the area, they said.
The security forces fired some shots in the air in retaliation, the officials said, adding that further details were awaited.
