Kidnapped husband-wife duo shot at before being released by suspected terrorists in Kashmir’s Anantnag
According To Local Reports, The Gunmen Abducted Mudasir Ahmad Makroo And His Wife Nusrat Begum From Bijbehara.
A husband-wife duo, who were kidnapped by suspected terrorists on Thursday evening, were shot at before being released in Arwani village of Anantnag district in south Kashmir on Friday. According to local reports, the gunmen abducted Mudasir Ahmad Makroo and his wife Nusrat Begum from Bijbehara. Nusrat suffered injuries in her left leg, while Mudasir sustained bullet wound in his leg. The couple is being treated at a local hospital.
According to sources, the duo was brought back to their village on Friday afternoon and was shotv at before being let off.
A police officer told a local media organisation that while Nusrat has been admitted to SDH Bijbehara, Mudasir was shifted to the district hospital Anantnag. The officer said the condition of both the persons is stated to be stable.
