Three cops killed, another injured in terrorist attack on police post in Kashmir's Shopian
The Slain Police Personnel Have Been Identified As Abdul Majid, Manzoor Ahmed And Mohammed Amin.
A terrorist attack on a police post in Kashmir’s Shopian left at least three cops dead and another injured on Tuesday. According to initial reports, the police personal were deployed at a police post guarding Kashmiri Pandits at Zainpora village in Shopian. The post is around 200 meters away from the concerned police station, CRPF and army camp.
News agency PTI reported that the terrorists entered into a guard room where four cop were on duty and shot at them, killing three. The slain police personnel have been identified as Abdul Majid, Manzoor Ahmed and Mohammed Amin. The fourth policeman have been taken to a hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical. The terrorists also walked away with weapons of the policemen, the official said, adding that all people from the community were safe.
