Brinda Karat opposes government move to hike LPG prices
Communist Party Of India (Marxist) CPI (M) Leader Brinda Karat Today Said Her Party Is Strongly Opposed To The Centre's Move To Hike LPG Prices.
Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI (M) leader Brinda Karat today said her party is strongly opposed to the Centre's move to hike LPG prices."We opposed this at the time of the UPA also. The panels which support this approach are wrong. As our production cost is very less in comparison to foreign countries, therefore, tax on these things should be removed by government. They can strike a balance only if they stop filling their own pockets," said Karat."The Modi Government should have declared that they will implement the policies of Dr.Manmohan Singh, but in a better way, so that people would have understood that they are two sides of the same coin. This is the agenda of the RSS, and the most wrong way of votebank politics. This is very wrong, and we condemn it," she added.
