Border Security Force (BSF) has seized heroin with street value of Rs 10 crore and foiled a smuggling bid along International Border (IB) in Jammu district.
Acting on a specific information, BSF launched a search operation along IB in R S Pura sector of Jammu district yesterday, a senior BSF officer said today.
During the search, two packets weighing approximately one kilogram each containing granular substance was found hidden at International Border near a tree.
“The packets were seized from the place and after sample test of the recovered substance, it was found to be heroin estimated to be worth Rs 10 crore,” the officer said.
