BSF seizes Pakistani fishing boat at Vyanvari Creek in Kutch
Pakistani Fishermen Had Entered Into Indian Territory Violating International Boundary For Fishing, Today At Around 5:15 Pm.
The patrolling party of Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday seized a Pakistani fishing boat in the Indian territory at Vyanvari Creek in Kutch district near the Indo-Pak border. According to reports, the fishermen on the boat fled to the Pak side after being spotted by BSF patrol boats.Â
Pakistani fishermen had entered into Indian territory violating International Boundary for fishing, today at around 5:15 pm. BSF found personal belongings of Pakistani fishermen from the boat.
Several fishermen of Pakistan have been caught while fishing in the Indian side of the creek, considered to be sensitive, in the past. Because of the sensitive nature of the area, even Indian fishermen are barred from catching fish in the creek. Â
However, Pakistani fishermen often venture into Indian waters to catch fish and prawns the official said.
