Canadian researcher feared abducted by maoists, Sushma Swaraj seeks report from Odisha CM
According To The Reports, Jhon, Who Went On A Motorcycle Ride Along With Malini Dundaram Into The Forests Of Chhattisgarh Was Reportedly Abducted By Maoists On Monday.
A Canadian researcher went missing from the jungles in Koraput district on the Odisha-Chattisgarh border.
According to the reports, Jhon, who went on a motorcycle ride along with Malini Dundaram into the forests of Chhattisgarh was reportedly abducted by Maoists on Monday.
External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj has spoken to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and sought the report.
"I have spoken to Shri Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister reg the reported abduction of a Canadian national in Koraput district of Odisha," EAM informed on her social media account.
Security forces and Police have initiated search operations to find Jhon but he could yet not be traced.His was last located in Singangatti area of Kistaram police station in Sukma District.
