Finance Ministry has directed banks to increase the cash withdrawal limit at ATMs from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 per day in recalibrated ATMs.
Weekly withdrawal limit of Rs 20,000 from bank accounts increased to Rs 24,000. The Limit of Rs 10,000 per day has been removed.
The banks have also been advised to arrange mobile banking vans to possible extents at main hospitals for emergency banking transaction for patients.
The Finance Ministry has also advised to make separate queues for senior citizens and Divyang persons.
