A Chandigarh court on Thursday sent Vikas Barala and other accused to two days of police custody in connection with stalking case.
The Chandigarh police produced Vikas Barala, son of Haryana BJP president Subhash Barala, before the court with other accused, Ashish.
According to sources, accused Vikas Barala has accepted during interrogation that he was stalking Varnika Kundu’s car.
On Wednesday, the police decided to press attempt to kidnap charge against Vikas Barala and another person, who had allegedly stalked and tried to abduct the daughter of an IAS officer, officials had said.
Vikas Barala, son of Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala, and the other accused were arrested by the police.
