Chhattisgarh: Constable shoves mishap victim’s body with foot; suspended
A Chhattisgarh police constable has been suspended from duty for allegedly shoving the body of an accident victim with his foot, a police official said on Tuesday.
A video footage which showed constable Neeraj Sahu on Monday shoving the body with his foot inside a police vehicle at the accident spot in Bemetara district went viral on social media.

Sahu was suspended on Monday with immediate effect, Bemetara Senior Superintendent of Police H R Manhar told PTI.
A teenager Sunil Kurre from Nawagadh town of Raipur, who was riding a motorcycle, was on Monday hit by a truck on Bemetara-Kawardha road, about 70 km from Raipur, Manhar said.

He said, crushed by the truck, Kurre died on the spot, but his sister riding with him escaped unhurt, Manhar added.
