The total cash and gold intercepted by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at 10 different airports across India amounts to staggering Rs 60 crore in old currency notes and 245 kg in gold. The cash and gold seizures were made by a special surveillance, initiated by CISF and the intelligence units of the Income Tax department, at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Guwahati , Chennai, Patna, Ahemdabad, Nagpur, Dimapur and Pune airports from November 10 till December 8.Here is a glance at cash and gold recovered from various airports:
Delhi Airport (Nov 10- Dec 6): Cash: Rs 6.23 cr; Gold: 19.409 kg
