Delhi police arrests coach for allegedly raping Kabaddi player
The Coach Named Naresh Dahiya Who Allegedly Drugged And Raped National-level Junior Kabaddi Player Was Arrested By Delhi Police After The Victim Filed A Complaint Against Him.
The coach who allegedly drugged and raped national-level junior Kabaddi player was arrested by Delhi Police. The minor Kabaddi player had filed a police complaint against Naresh Dahiya who claimed to be a coach for sexually assaulted her.
The gruesome incident took place on July 9, when the victim was accosted by Naresh while training in Delhi’s Chhatrasal stadium. He posed as a coach and asked victim to sit in his car for dieting tips. After driving for some distance, the accused punched her on neck due to which she went unconscious.
According to the victim, when regained consciousness she found herself in a flat where the accused raped her repeatedly.
Next day, he left the player on streets and threatened to kill if she mentioned about his advances to anyone.
The accused has been booked under Pocso act and section 376 of IPC. The medical test of the victim confirmed the rape and she is undergoing the treatment.
