Commuters may face delay on Delhi Metro's violet line corridor due to scheduled maintenance
The Violet Line Corridor Which Stretches From Escorts Mujesar To ITO-Mandi House Stations Will Be Diverted To Line 6 Between Badarpur And Mohan Estate, Between 12pm And 4pm, As Quoted In The Advisory Issued By DMRC.
Delhi Metro services on Violet line corridor may witness long delays on Sunday. DMRC had announced scheduled maintenance on Violet line corridor on Saturday. Metro's services on the Violet line will be slower, between Badarpur Border and Mohan Estate Metro stations due to scheduled maintenance work on a stretch of the line."The Violet line corridor which stretches from Escorts Mujesar to ITO-Mandi House stations will be diverted to Line 6 between Badarpur and Mohan Estate, between 12pm and 4pm," as quoted in the advisory issued by DMRC.

"The traffic on Sunday afternoon is comparatively less, that's why we chose this time for the scheduled maintenance,to facilitate the commuters" a DMRC spokesperson added.The average frequency of the trains will be longer this afternoon, compared to the usual wait time of 2-3 minutes on regular days. The commuters may have to wait for some where around 15 minutes between the trains."However maintenance work has to be undertaken during day time only, the frequency of the trains will be back to normal after 4pm," an official said.
