The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajarag Dal have come out in support of a 60-year-old cook who got into controversy after she concealed her original identity and posed as ‘Brahmin’ to get a job.
The controversy erupted after an IMD scientist Medha Khole filed a cheating complaint against her cook. The scientist claimed that her cook has hurt religious sentiments.
Following the complaint, there was unrest in the Sambhaji Brigade. Members of Sambhaji Brigade met Joint Commissioner of Police Ravindra Kadam and demanded action against the scientist for creating caste divide.
In the hour of grief, the members of VHP and Bajrang Dal visited the cook’s house and extended support to her.
