CRPF constable Mahesh Kumar Meena, who was airlifted to AIIMS, succumbs to injuries

After sustaining bullet injuries during the encounter at Tral Pulwama on January 5, CRPF constable Mahesh Kumar Meena today succumbed to injuries. Earlier, Meena was airlifted to AIIMS Trauma Centre from Army's 92 Base Hospital Srinagar.  

“He was shifted to Army's 92 Base Hospital Srinagar where from he was shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi,” said an official, adding that the trooper succumbed at AIIMS today.
