Crude bomb hurled in BJP-TMC supporters’ clash, 2 injured
The Injury Was Caused As Chaos Prevailed For Some Time During The Clash, Police Said.The BJP Howrah District Youth Wing President Umesh Rai Said A BJP Meeting Was In Progress To Campaign For The Rally Of Party National President Amit Shah In Kolkata On November 30.
A crude bomb was today hurled during a clash between BJP and Trinamool Congress supporters at Salkia in Howrah district, police said.
Two persons were injured as people ran for safety when a crube bomb exploded during the clash which ensued when a meeting was in progress in the area, police said.
The injury was caused as chaos prevailed for some time during the clash, police said.The BJP Howrah district youth wing president Umesh Rai said a BJP meeting was in progress to campaign for the rally of party national president Amit Shah in Kolkata on November 30.
However, “suddenly TMC men hurled a number of bombs at BJP supporters and two activists suffered splinter wounds,” Rai alleged. He also claimed that some other party men were assaulted by TMC men.
