Dawood Ibrahim's aide and music icon Gulshan Kumar's murder convict Daud Merchant to be extradited to India
Daud Merchant, Top Aide Of Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim And Convicted In The Gulshan Kumar Murder Case Was Set Free In Bangladesh On Teusday. India On Its Part Has Upped Its Ante To Extradite The Notorious Criminal.
India has increased efforts for extraditing Dawood Ibrahim’s aide and music baron Gulshan Kumar’s convicted killer Abdur Rauf Daud Merchant from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Known to be close to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, Merchant was set free in Bangladesh on Teusday and is currently under the process of extradition to India.
Merchant had illegally entered Bangladesh on 2009 while he was on a 14-day parole and arrested on charges of passport forging and trespassing at the Bangladesh border.
The Indian government had been pressurising Bangladesh government to fast-track the extradition of Daud Merchant but the issue had been stuck for 2 years.
With his release from Bangladesh, India would be hoping to nab the notorious criminal and pit him to justice.
