A 60-year-old man used to allegedly sexually assault a seven-year-old girl after luring her with a plate of ‘chowmein’ in Delhi, said police.
The incident came to surface after the minor was found lying unconscious by locals on Monday. They took the girl to her house and informed the local police.
A senior officer of Delhi Police said, the girl was in trauma and did not share anything about the incident with her parents or the police.
The officer added that they pushed in an NGO to counsel the girl. After counseling the girl shared her ordeal with her parents.

The officer further told the police that, a 60-year-old vegetable seller used to sexually assault her after luring the victim with Rs 10 and her favourite Chinese dish ‘chowmein.”

The Delhi Police have arrested the vegetable seller and lodged an FIR against him under various IPC sections and POSCO act.
The officer added that during questioning the vegetable seller told the police that he used to sedate the girl with a pill.
“He had sexually assaulted the girl on multiple occasion,” said the officer.
The police is trying to ascertain the kind of pills the vegetable mixed in the chowmein to sedate the victim.
