As temperature dips, Delhi-NCR engulfed in thick layer of fog
Visibility On Wednesday Morning Reduced To 800 Metres On Road, While At Delhi Airport It Was Down To 400 Metres .Several Flights Have Been Delayed Amid Dense Fog On The Runway.
The night temperature across Delhi-NCR inched up a notch low, as the area around capital engulfed under a thick layer of fog.
National capital Delhi recorded the minimum temperature of 11 degrees Celsius, an increase of nearly three degrees from the previous night’s temperature.
Visibility on Wednesday morning reduced to 800 metres on road, while at Delhi airport it was down to 400 metres .Several flights have been delayed amid dense fog on the runway.
Vehicles were seen moving on snail’s pace on Delhi-Gurgaon highway and Delhi-Noida expressway. Notably the weather indicated no signs of fog until Tuesday evening.
Air quality in capital remains 'severe' as PM 2.5 & PM 10 levels remained above normal standards in several areas as quoted by Delhi Traffic police.
