DMK chief M Karunanidhi to remain hospitalised for an extended period
Ailing DMK chief M Karunanidhi responded well to medical treatment and his vital signs had gradually normalised but he will continue to stay admitted due to age-related overall decline in his general health, liver and blood parameters, according to a medical bulletin issued by Kauvery Hospital on Tuesday.
The hospital said that the DMK chief continued to maintain his vital signs with active medical support.
Earlier in the day, Congress President Rahul Gandhi visited the 94-year-old DMK leader, who was admitted to Kauvery hospital after his blood pressure dropped.
