Earthquake: Strong Tremors Jolt Delhi, Other Parts Of North India As 6.3 Magnitude Quake Hits Hindukush
Tremors Were Also Felt In Many Parts Of North India As Well As Many Cities In Pakistan.
Massive tremors were felt in several parts of North India, including Delhi and National Capital Region, after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake in the Hindukush region in Afghanistan on Friday evening. The tremors were felt for few seconds. Many people shared videos of swinging ceiling fans and chandeliers on social media. So far no casualty or damage has been reported.
Tremors were also felt in many parts of Pakistan. Among the cities where tremors were felt were Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Murree, Mansehra, Battagram, Chiniot, and Gilgit-Baltistan, DawnNewsTV reported. According to officials, the centre of earthquake was in Hindukush region of Afghanistan.
