An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale hit Maharashtra's Satara district on Saturday night.
No casualties have been reported so far, however, an amalgamation of shock and fear has prevailed over the region.
Earlier, on June 4, Maharashtra's Konya region was shaken up with an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale. The tremors of the quake were also felt in Sangli and Kolhapur, and few areas of Southern Maharashtra.
