An Encounter Broke Out Today Between Security Forces And Militants In North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.

An encounter broke out today between security forces and militants in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.On specific information about the presence of militants in Thak-Gund Village of Sopore area of the district, a joint team of army and police began a search operation this morning, police said.They said as the security forces were conducting the search operation, the hiding militants opened fire on them triggering an encounter.Firing was going on till last reports came in, the police said, adding so far no causalities have been reported.
