In a sensational discovery, anti-tank missiles were found along the India-Pakistan border town of Jaisalmer on Monday. News Nation has learnt that the anti-tank missiles were discovered by the ONGC workers during a usual assignment in the border area. The anti-tank missiles were discovered in Longewala region. The place is famous in the history of India’s military expeditions. The Battle of Longewala was one of the first major engagements in the western sector during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. News Nation has learnt that the ONGC has investigated the matter and submitted a initial report to the BSF. It is likely that the anti-tank mines belong to the 1971 era. Earlier in February this year, a gas leak was reported in the oil plant in Jaisalmer, which continued for the four days.
