Opposition Presidential Candidate Meira Kumar On Wednesday Spoke Exclusively To News Nation Before Filing Her Nomination Paper For Presidential Election. She Said That The Presidential Election Is Not A Dalit Vs Dalit Fight.

Opposition presidential candidate Meira Kumar on Wednesday spoke exclusively to News Nation before filing her nomination paper for presidential election. She said that the presidential election is not a Dalit vs Dalit fight.
"No, it is not Dalit vs Dalit fight. I want that we should wrap caste and bury it deep inside the ground and our society should move forward," she said.
On offering tributes at Rajghat before filing her nomination she said, “I get strength here, this strength helps me to fight for the rights of Dalits, women, poor and underprivileged.”
On asking how she sees NDA presidential candidate as a competitor, she said, “I have a lot of respect for Kovind ji.”
