A possible tragedy was averted with timely detection of explosives kept inside a dustbin in Baramulla district of north Kashmir today, police said.Some explosive material was found lying in a dustbin near passenger shed at Khwaja Bagh in Baramulla district town, 55 kms from here, a police officer said.He said bomb disposal squad was immediately summoned and subsequently the explosive material was destroyed by them.The explosive material was planted by militants apparently to set off an explosion in the busy north Kashmir town, the officer said.Police have registered a case and started a hunt to nab the militants.
