Former Kerala Radio Jockey hacked to death, friend injured
The Deceased, Identified As Rajesh Alias Rasikan Rajesh, And Aged 34, Was A Former RJ With A Private FM Channel. Along With Being An RJ, He Was Also A Mimicry Artist And Folk Singer.
A former Radio Jockey was hacked to death in Kerala’s Madavoor district, while while one of his friend was injured in an attack by a four-member gang early on Tuesday, police said.
The deceased, identified as Rajesh alias Rasikan Rajesh, and aged 34, was a former RJ with a private FM channel. Along with being an RJ, he was also a mimicry artist and folk singer.
The incident took place at around 2 am at the Metro sound recording Studio in Madavoor which was owned by Rajesh.
As per preliminary information, Rajesh along with his friend, Kuttan, had returned from a stage program and were putting the equipment back in their studio, when a group of unidentified assailants attacked them with sharp weapons. The assailants had come in a red Maruti Swift car.

The local people who heard the voices called the police immediately. Rajesh succumbed to his injuries at hospital in Parippally, while Kuttan is undergoing treatment Thiruvananthapuram Medical College hospital.
The police have registered a case of murder and are yet to identify the accused.
