Four militants including two women were arrested in Manipur by security forces, police told on Wednesday.
A team of state police apprehended one cadre of NSCN (K) identified as 48-year-old Jiten Golmei during an operation at Oinam Kabui Khul Maning Leikai in Bishnupur district, a police press release said .
Golmei was involved in extortion activities.
A combined team of police commandos, army and Assam Rifles arrested an active member of the proscribed outfit KCP (Poirei) from Yairipok Kekru Mathak Leikai in Thoubal district.
Identified as Longjam Bijando Singh, the 48-year-old during the investigation revealed name of two other woman militants of the outfit.
The two women militants were arrested from their respective residences in the presence of women police personnel, said the press release.
Meanwhile, four persons have been arrested in connection with the seizure of 342 fake driving licenses, the release added.
