40 hostel girls strip-searched in Madhya Pradesh, vice chancellor orders inquiry
The Warden Allegedly Issued This Disgusting Order To Check Which Girl Was Menstruating And Who Was At The Helm Of Not Disposing The Pad Properly.
In a shocking incident, nearly 40 girls were allegedly stripped in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar after a used sanitary napkin was found in their hostel.
The incident came to light on Sunday after the girls residing in Dr Hari Singh Gour University filed a complaint to the vice-chancellor against the warden and a caretaker who allegedly strip-searched them, after finding a used sanitary pad outside a bathroom.
They further alleged that the warden issued this disgusting order to check which girl was menstruating and who was at the helm of not disposing the pad properly.
RP Tiwari, vice chancellor of the university while talking to news agency ANI, condemned the unfortunate incident and ordered an inquiry.
"It's unfortunate and condemnable. I told students that they're all like my daughter and I apologise to them. I also assured them that action will be taken in this regard. If warden is found to be at fault, an action will definitely be taken against her."
