Goa to boost infrastructure for IFFI's 50th edition: Parsekar
Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar On Monday Said That The State Will Boost Infrastructure In A Big Way To Host The 50th Edition Of IFFI, Scheduled After Three Years.
Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Monday said that the state will boost infrastructure in a big way to host the 50th edition of IFFI, scheduled after three years.
“We are (now) concluding the 47th edition of the festival. We have three more years to celebrate the 50th year of this festival. 50th year will be very special to us,” Parsekar told reporters on the red-carpet , ahead of the concluding ceremony of the film festival.
“We are planning for some special infrastructure. We will be putting up some special infrastructure to host the 50th edition of IFFI in Goa,” he said.
The Union government has assured funding to set up permanent infrastructure to host IFFI, the festival that is being held in Goa since 2004.
“The 47th edition has been a great success. IFFI is taking Goa to greater heights in the field of creativity,” Parsekar said.
