Gujarat CM unwell, cancels two-day visit to Surat
Starting Today, Patel Was Scheduled To Embark On Her Two-day Visit To Surat, Where She Was Scheduled To Hold A Review Meeting With District Collectors And Other Officials Of South Gujarat About The Progress Made Under ‘Gatisheel Gujarat’ Drive, A Department Of Information Official Said.
Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel has cancelled her two-day visit to Surat after she fell sick and being advised to take rest by the doctors.
Starting today, Patel was scheduled to embark on her two-day visit to Surat, where she was scheduled to hold a review meeting with district collectors and other officials of south Gujarat about the progress made under ‘Gatisheel Gujarat’ drive, a Department of Information official said.
“I learnt that she is unwell and has been advised to take rest. Thus, she has cancelled the visit,” spokesperson, Minister of Gujarat government Nitin Patel said today.
She is suffering from some viral infection, probably due to her whirlwind visits cross the state in the last few days, the official added.
