Gujarat Deputy CM Nitin Patel says attack on Rahul Gandhi might be peoples' protest
Patel Said The Government Is Doing Its Job But The Congress MLAs Are In Bangalore. He Said The Attack Might Be A Form Of Their Protest.
Gujarat deputy chief minister Nitin Patel on Friday said Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was provided bullet-proof vehicle but chose to travel by normal vehicle.
Patel said the government is doing its job but the Congress MLAs are in Bangalore. He said the attack might be a form of their protest.
On the other hand, The Banskantha SP said an FIR has been registered as unknown persons attacked Rahul Gandhi's car. He said investigation will be done against who had pelted stone.
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's car was pelted with stones on Friday during his visit to this flood-affected town but he escaped unhurt, police said.
Banaskantha Superintendent of Police Neeraj Badgujar said unknown persons threw stones at Gandhi's car, breaking its rear glass when he on his way from Lal Chowk to the helipad in Dhanera. Gandhi escaped unhurt, he added.
