48-hours and there is still no respite for water-logged Gurgaon. The Gurgaon Police seems to have taken a lesson from the big traffic mess caused by rains in in the city. The cops have finally come up with a fool-proof plan to avert chaos during the ongoing monsoon season. However, according to reports, the city is now struggling to limp back to normalcy and the restoration work is on full swing.Navdeep Singh Virk, Commissioner of Police, said 14 crucial points have been identified on the NH8 and NH248A. He said round-the-clock forces have been deployed."At each point, inspector-rank officers have been deputed along with police personnel," he said. "Day shift will be from 8 am to 8 pm and night shift will be from 8 pm to 8 am. These duties will continue till further orders," he added.

The potholes are being removed at the Hero Honda Chowk, which saw its worst-ever traffic jam.
