Haryana Assembly session postponed

The Haryana Assembly's monsoon session, which was to commence in Chandigarh on Friday, has been postponed indefinitely in the wake of the demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Thursday evening.
"The session has been postponed indefinitely...," Haryana Assembly Speaker Kanwar Pal told PTI.

He said that fresh dates will be worked out by the government later on.
As per tentative schedule, the Haryana Assembly's monsoon session was to commence on August 17 and last till August 21.

Vajpayee, 93, died at AIIMS in Delhi following the prolonged illness.
