Haryana boxer shot dead in Greater Noida
The Deceased Boxer Has Been Identified As Jitendra Mann, 27. According To Police, Mann Was Working As A Gym Trainer In Greater Noida.
A former boxer registered with the Haryana State Boxing Association was found shot dead at his his flat in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida on Saturday.
The deceased boxer has been identified as Jitendra Mann, 27. According to police, Mann was working as a gym trainer in Greater Noida.
“He was found dead in his flat by his former flatmate. It would be too early to comment. We are investigating the boxer’s death in all angles,” said a police officer.
Mann’s family have lodged an FIR against unknown assailant. Police has registered an FIR under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 302.
According to Haryana State Boxing Association’s official website, Mann was registered with the organisation as a boxer in 2008 and he has won two gold, one silver and a bronze medal in various boxing competitions.
