Haryanavi folk singer Mamta Sharma's body found with slit throat in Rohtak
The Haryanvi Folk Singer Has Been Identified As 40-year-old Mamta Sharma, A Resident Of Kalanaur Village. She Was Renown In The Haryana And Adjoining States For Her Stage Performance On Religious Events.
A renowned Haryanvi folk singer’s mutilated body was found at the outskirts of Baniyani village in Haryana’s Rohtak district on Thursday.
The Haryanvi folk singer has been identified as 40-year-old Mamta Sharma, a resident of Kalanaur village. She was renown in the Haryana and adjoining states for her stage performance on religious events.
Meham Deputy Superintendent of Police said that they have has collected forensic evidences from the crime spot.
A police officer of Haryana said, “The victim’s neck was slit. On seeing the body it seems she was tortured before being killed. Things will be more clear after the postmortem report.”
The deceased’s son said, “My mother was missing since January 15. She had gone to attend a stage event on January 15. We had lodged a missing complaint then.”
