Himachal Pradesh polls 2017: PK Dhumal claims BJP will get 60 seats
“We Aimed To Get 50 Plus Seats But Now That We Are Receiving So Much Support From All Sections Of The Society, We Expect It To Cross 60,' He Said.
BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Prem Kumar Dhumal on Thursday claimed that BJP would get full majority in Himachal Pradesh elections. The polling is underway in all 68 constituencies in the state.
While talking to ANI, Dhumal said that they were aiming to get 50 seats in polls but after witnessing massive support from all section of societies would get 60 seats.
“We aimed to get 50 plus seats but now that we are receiving so much support from all sections of the society, we expect it to cross 60,†he said.
Dhumal’s son and Hamirpur BJP MP Anurag Thakur said, “Time has come and people have made up their mind to get rid of Congress who has looted Himachal Pradesh.â€
“The state needs a senior leader like Dhumal ji to look at the affairs of Himachal which is under the debt of more than Rs 50,000 crore,†he added.
