Hyderabad: Baby girl’s severed head found in residential building; Police suspect human sacrifice
“We Have Registered A Case And Probe Has Been Launched. We Have Cordoned The House And Inspecting The Colony To Obtain Clues,' Said Inspector Of Uppal Police Station To The Media.
A severed head of a three-month-old baby girl was found from a terrace of a residential building at Chilkanagar in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Hyderabad Police said, “The owner of the building first saw the child’s head, who later alerted us.”
According to police, the age of the baby is between three and four months.
“We have registered a case and probe has been launched. We have cordoned the house and inspecting the colony to obtain clues,” said Inspector of Uppal Police station to the media.
Another police officer who denied revealing his identity said, “On seeing the head it seems the baby’s murder could be a case of human sacrifice.”
“We are investigating the case in all possible angle. We are sure the baby was murdered in some other location,” said a senior officer officer of Hyderabad.
