Hyderabad doctor held for selling ‘Ganja’ chocolates on Instagram

In a bizarre yet shocking incident, a man from Hyderabad has been arrested for selling marijuana-infused chocolates online. The man who allegedly is also a doctor was trading the malicious chocolates for up to Rs 1,800 per piece.
35-year-old Shujath Khan is reportedly a medical college pass out in Hyderabad in 2006. He later went on to work with a government-run institute till 2014 before setting up this gruesome business.
With a proper set of planning, Khan used to prepare these ‘ganja’ chocolates by mixing marijuana powder in the mixture and was selling them in small cups on his Instagram account from last two years.
There were also some different categories according to which these chocolates were sold. The cost and the variety of these chocolates depended on how much amount of marijuana is mixed in them. Price varied from Rs 500 to Rs 1,800 per piece.
It has also been known that Khan used to advise his customers as a health consultant at various gyms on what should be their protein intake.
With this, the alleged doctor had managed to garner around 3,000 clients across the country, sources said. Typical orders were placed through mail.
