It’s children’s day out with PM Narendra Modi at Red Fort on Independence Day
It was a truly happy Independence Day 2018 for hundreds of children in the national capital as they get to shake hands and interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Red Fort after his Independence Day address to the nation on Wednesday. Moving out of the Red Fort after his address to the nation, Modi stepped out of his security cover and greeted the children with warmth and happiness and fulfilled their dreams of meeting him, the prime minister of the country.
Bright and beautiful in colours of the national flag, the children jostled to meet and shake hands with Modi. In 2017 too, Modi had sidestepped his security cordon to greet children on the occasion.

As he tried to walk back to his car after interacting with the children, the overenthusiastic crowd continued to swamp him. Modi, however, managed to move out with the help of his security and soon his motorcade sped away from the I-Day celebration venue.
