Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Friday Said That India And Egypt Will Work To Deepen ‘deepen Our Cooperation In Agriculture, Skill Development And Health Sectors’.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that India and Egypt will work to deepen ‘deepen our cooperation in agriculture, skill development and health sectors’.
Addressing the joint press conference with Egypt President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in New Delhi, PM Modi said that the he and Egyptian president have agreed to build on multiple pillars of India-Egypt relationship.
PM Modi also revealed that the two nations have agreed to further their defence and security engagement which would aim at greater info and operational exchanges to combat terrorism.
“Also agreed on co-op (India-Egypt) on challenges of cyber security and working together to fight transnational crimes and money-laundering, PM Modi said.
Acknowledging Egypt as a natural bridge between Asia and Africa, the Prime Minister said that Egyptian people are a voice of moderate Islam and their naton is a factor for regional peace and stability.
Growing radicalisation and terror pose a threat not only to our two countries but to the world, he said, “we agreed that the UN Security Council needs to be reformed to reflect the realities of today”
