India, Kenya relations to scale new heights: President Mukherjee
Citing Long-standing Friendly Ties Between India And Kenya, President Pranab Mukherjee Today Said The Relations Between The Two Countries Will Continue To Expand And Scale New Heights. He Extended Warm Greetings And Felicitations To The Government And The People Of Kenya On The Eve Of ‘Madaraka Day’, The Day That Country Attained Self-rule.
Citing long-standing friendly ties between India and Kenya, President Pranab Mukherjee today said the relations between the two countries will continue to expand and scale new heights. He extended warm greetings and felicitations to the government and the people of Kenya on the eve of ‘Madaraka Day’, the day that country attained self-rule.
In a message to Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, the President of the Republic of Kenya, Mukherjee said the long-standing friendly ties between India and Kenya have blossomed into a robust and multi-faceted partnership.
“Our bilateral engagement has been further strengthened in recent years by regular high-level visits, growing trade and commerce as well as extensive people-to-people contacts.
“Our countries also share common views on issues of regional and global interest and cooperate closely in regional and multi-lateral fora. I am confident that this relationship between our two countries will continue to expand and that our interaction and cooperation will scale new heights,” the President said.
