Three persons were killed after an Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) head constable allegedly opened fire at two locations in Maharashtra’s pune on Tuesday.
Pune Police said, the shooter was identified as IRB head constable Sanjay Shinde. “He is posted at State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) camp,” police said.
“Shinde opened fire at two busy places — Borawake Nagar and Morinagar, around 80 kilometers from Pune city,” said police.
A senior police officer said, “Shinde moled himself inside his house after the shooting.”
The three killed have been identified as Anil Jadhav, Gopal Shine and Prashant Pawar.
According to police, the reasons behind the shooting is yet not clear. Till the time report was filed Shinde was not arrested.
