It became a memorable moment for 19-year-old Prensha, a yoga enthusiast when she got an opportunity to perform 'asanas' while sitting within a close range of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of International Yoga day.
A resident of Misrikh of neighbouring Sitapur district, Prensha said that she was so thrilled seeing the prime minister that she started following the asanas being performed by him.
“Modi coming here and performing yoga in the company of children and youths was perhaps the most surprising event of my life,†she told PTI, as she tried hard come out of the memorable occasion.
As Modiji came toward us, we greeted him with a loud cheer, she added.
For 18-year-old Adamya Saxena, “Performing yoga in this weather was like performing rain dance with friendsâ€.
Saxena, who came to Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan along with his friends, said, “We enjoyed every moment of this special day and will treasure it for the rest of our lives.â€
Terming it a special moment of the day, Bhaskar Singh, who performed yoga, said, “As the Prime Minister came towards the children and the performing area of the youngsters, an enthusiastic visitor blew a conch shell which electrified the atmosphere.â€Â
