Irom Sharmila calls on JK CM Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar

Manipur's Iron Lady Irom Sharmila on Monday called on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar.
The human rights activist is currently on a visit to the state.
"The rights activist briefed the chief minister about the activities (she participated in) during her stay here. She (Sharmila) also briefed her (Mufti) about many initiatives she is associated with and that are aimed at empowerment of local women," an official spokesperson told reporters after the meeting.
Mufti appreciated Sharmila's determination and wished her well, the spokesperson added.
