ISI met LeT, JeM, Hizbul to intensify attack in J&K and Punjab: Sources
Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Held A Meeting With Various Pakistan-based Terrorist Groups Like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) And Hizbul Mujahideen To Intensify Attack In Jammu And Kashmir And Punjab, Sources Said On Saturday.
Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) held a meeting with various Pakistan-based terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Hizbul Mujahideen to intensify attack in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, sources said on Saturday.
According to sources, the ISI met the terror groups in December 2015. The report comes following the terror attack in Air Force base in Pathankot on Saturday.
Intelligence inputs had last week suggested that LeT was planning major attacks in India on New Year eve as it had formed a group of around 15-20 trained fighters.
Reports had said that the terrorist group had already left Pakistan and could have already entered India and their intension could be to carry out an attack similar to the ones in Mumbai in 2008.
